Beauty Pageant competitions are the beauty contests that are traditionally held for the women. These beauty pageants consist of a specific set of contestants who will be evaluated by the pre-defined set of Judges. Many of us misunderstand that these beauty contests depend on the beauty of the contestants but this is not true. The judgment will be based on individual intelligence, physical attributes, individual talent and finally the answers given to the questions asked by the judging panel. You will wonder to know that there are similar competitions for men and they are usually known as bodybuilding contests.
Local Beauty Pageants:
Each and every beauty pageant is different from the other one. The rules and regulations depend on the organizers of the corresponding Beauty Pageant. The rules may range from age, marital status, experience, promotional requirements, clothing standards and much more. Most of the popular Pageants require the participants’ marital status to be single and have a very good experience in such competitions. Usually, International Beauty Pageants kick off with thousands of local events which lead to the bigger and the International version of the event. The local events consist of Child Beauty Pageants, Adult, and Teen Pageants. Interestingly, Child pageants concentrate on gowns, modeling of sportswear clothing, personal interviews etc. Adult & Teen competitions concentrate on gowns, hair, modeling of swimsuit clothing and makeup.
