“Open Access pub would like to invite you to the “International Conference on Proteomics” which is going to be held on November 20-21, 2017 at Rome, Italy. The conference will analyze what are the recent techniques and what are the steps to improve those techniques. We welcome you all to be a part of this event to contribute your novel research ideas into a presentation.

The main theme of this conference is “To strengthen the advances in the field of proteomics”.

Proteomics is the large-scale study of the structures and functions of proteins in complex biological sample. In addition, proteomics has been complemented by the analysis of post-translational modifications and techniques for the quantitative comparison of different proteomes. It is more complicated than genomics because an organism’s genome is more or less constant, which means that even the basic set of proteins that are produced in a cell needs to be identified. To facilitate these data, centralized data repositories have enveloped that make the data and results accessible to proteomics researchers and biologists alike. Proteomics a branch of biotechnology concerned with applying the techniques of molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics to analyzing the structure, and interactions of the proteins. In bioinformatics point of view proteomics is the databases of protein sequence, databases of predicted protein structures and more recently, databases of protein expression analysis. As more protein structures are identified, the relationship between structure and functions became easier to predict. Proteomics attribute to the study of proteomes, but is also used to characterize the techniques used to determine the complete set of proteins of an organism or system, such as protein purification and MS. Proteomics is a developing field that has been deeply enabled by the human genome project. Proteins which are the products of genes, the machinery of the cells in our bodies. When genes are disturbed, the proteins are also damaged. When pathogens infect us, causing disease, proteins play a major role in signaling the presence & ridding us of these invaders. Almost every process which that occurs in our cells from the metabolization of clean sugar to the distribution of cells is dependent on proteins for smooth operation. In general, proteomics seeks to distinguish & quantify as many proteins as possible.”
